Konsortium Bumi Group held their 20^th Anniversary Dinner at The Everly Lhesson, Grand Lhesson Ballroom Level 5, Kuching on the night of 30^th August 2026. It was attended by Minister in Premier's Department, YB Dato Sri John Sikie Tayai as Guest of Honor.
Also attended is the former Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak, YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Alfred Jabu Numpang, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts, YB Datuk Snowdan Lawan, former Sarawak State Secretary, YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Mohd. Morshidi, and Parliament's House of Representative Member P214 Selangau, YB Tuan Edwin Banta.
Dato Sri John Sikie Tayai commended the company’s 20-year expansion as a major milestone, emphasizing its impact on job creation, local talent development, and strategic alliance building alongside its core project acquisitions.

The Managing Director of KBCS, Dato’ Ir. Janang expressed his gratitude to his staff and business partners, crediting their vital role in driving the company's 20 years of growth. By highlighting the MOU signing as a major milestone, Dato Janang points to a future of growth and international joint ventures for KBCS.

During the event, four Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) covering oil & gas, energy, agriculture & environmental, social and governance (ESG) consultancy also took part during this celebration. Dato Ir. Janang and Ar. David Keen Hollis Tini represented KBCS Group for all MOU signing ceremony

MOU signing between KBCS and Barcelona-based BCN Smart Technologies for partnership involving technology converting methanol into hydrogen, which generate electricity through reformer. BCN Smart Technologies is represented by its Managing Director, Mr. Jordi Pol Ramon, and Miss Lea Lourdess

MOU signing between KBE and AGV ESG Consultancy (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd for service expansion for environmental, social and governance (ESG) consultancy in Sarawak. AGV ESG Consultancy Sdn Bhd is represented by its Managing Director, Dato Alfred Adaikalaraj, and Datin Dr. Vijayalakshmi Samuel

MOU signing between KBCS and Simple Advantage Sdn Bhd for employing smart advance technology and internet of things (IOT) for paddy farming. Simple Advantage Sdn Bhd is represented by its CEO, Dr Mohammed Shafrick Yusof, and Mdm Hasnida Binti Hashim
