ASEAN SARAWAK BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC FORUM (ASBEF) 2025 RECOGNIZES DATO IR. JANANG BUNGSU WITH ASEAN DISTINGUISHED BUSINESS LEADER EXCELLENCE AWARD
Asean Sarawak Business and Economic Forum (ASBEF) 2025, organized by Asean Economic Club, Asean Business Club, & KSI - Strategic Institute For Asia Pacific have been held at Riverside Majestic Hotel, Kuching on 28th February 2025
This high-level forum is focusing on Sarawak as well as regional economic cooperation in Brunei - Indonesia - Malaysia - Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA). The shift of the new Indonesia capital to Nusantara focuses on Indonesia - Malaysia bilateral ties as well as the whole BIMP-EAGA region. The forum provided trusted insights and information on trends, challenges and opportunities in this growing region. It is a meeting of minds to feel the pulse of development in the region and identity trends, opportunities and risks of investing in the region.
During the forum, several honourable awards have been given to distinguished leaders in their respective merit. The most prominent figurehead and leading the recipient is Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, which have been conferred the 2024 World Outstanding Muslim Leader of The Year Award.
